Supplier Quality Engineer - Subject matter expert in electriclal or safety systems.
Work with suppliers on developing their "operational characteristics" and new model parts through a proactive approach
Work with other HMA departments to communicate new part status through the new model development
Undestand how part quality new model impacts the vehicle and market
Prompt analysis of part problems and countermeasures through the New Model Process
Develop new model parts through a proactive approach with suppliers
Support and follow-up with various departments on new model quality development
Part inspection and analysis during supplier build events
Prepare technical reports & presentations
Travel to suppliers and audit their systems and/or countermeasures on planned visits or on short notice
will be responsible for 60 -120 within 15 suppliers
