We are seeking full-time Early Childhood Education Teachers for all age groups for our Elgin Child & Family Resource Center. Bilingual candidates strongly preferred.

Specific Responsibilities: Assists teacher with day to day activities in a NAEYC accredited program. Supports classroom teacher through active involvement with children in small and large groups. Assists with lesson planning, communicating with parents, nurturing children and helping to make sure the classroom is clean and safe at all times. Must be able to lift, move and hold children up to 40 pounds and to fully participate in all activities with the children. Knowledge of Head Start, State Pre-K and basic computer skills is desired. The ability to work as a team member and to demonstrate flexibility, cooperation and good communication skills.

Requirements:
AA degree in Early Child Development required with 2 years of classroom experience, or 60 hours of college coursework with at least 15 hours in ECE. Bilingual strongly preferred.
