This position plays a strategic role in the success of our CAREGiver recruitment and selection. Ideal candidate will possess ability to manage several tasks at once, perform well in fast-paced, team-oriented environments, and be comfortable in public settings for tasks done outside of office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer each CAREGiver (CG) employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner - including phone, online and in person
- Manage recruitment online and print advertising activity in conjunction with Business Development Department
- Develop and implement new recruitment strategies within our service area of 4 counties
- Public speaking to small groups regarding HISC services and CG employment opportunities
- Enter and analyze recruitment data and make suggestions as needed
- Attend and participate in weekly HR meetings
- Complete quarterly goals as set by the Operations Manager
Secondary Responsibilities
- Manage CG applications, regret letters, and follow-ups
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient, professional manner which meets state and federal criteria
- Conduct character reference checks
- Prepare and schedule new hires for orientation
- Conduct segments of CG Orientation & Training as needed
- Assist with planning and execution of quarterly CG Open Houses
- Assist with CG/Client Intros
- Participate in weekday overnight on-call rotation
- Function as emergency fill-in CG
Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment, sales or similar field
- College education or similar experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s license
