General Labor/Machine Operator - Full-time / Part-time

A manufacturing company in the Lewisville area is looking for a machine operator. Candidate will be responsible for operating the break press in the trim manufacturing department. Will need a candidate with strong communication skills (due to the fact that they will be training others in the craft).

* Work from instructions.
* Assist with operations at any plant cutting or laminating station as directed.
* Remove laminated boards from conveyor, stack in bundles of designated number, make up corrugated end caps, folding and stapling material as required to suite bundle size. Operate banding equipment to band loads and move bundles to store area.
* Move boards from conveyor after slicing operation, tape bundles, and move to designated storage area.
* Move blocks to and from storage areas as required.
* Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communication issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies.
* Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
* Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned.

* Candidate will be responsible for taking measurements, cutting, performing bending touch-up on the metal components.
* Someone that has significant sheet metal forming experience would have a good understanding of the process. They would be working in the end fold department currently in development.
* Candidate will be unsupervised for a majority of the time so time management is a requirement.
* Banding equipment, stapler and hand tools.
