Quality Assurance Inspector - 3rd Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Description

DISH's Quality Assurance team ensures compliance with DISH's desired levels of quality and service. State-of-the -art QA facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, Suwanee, GA and Denver, CO use statistical sampling, and advanced quality assurance engineering tools to validate DISH hardware streams before distribution to customers.

The QA Inspector i nspects incoming parts and assemblies, in-process, and/or completed electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, or finished products.

This position is for 3rd shift:

Sunday: 8:45 PM - 5:15 AM
Monday-Thursday: 9:30 PM - 6 AM

Requirements

Education

High School diploma and 4 years experience or AS degree and 2 years experience. Experience includes electronic/mechanical inspection experience, and knowledge of assembly practices and procedures. QA Experience highly desirable.

Skills

• Data entry skills.
• Must be able to type 20 wpm.
• Ability to read, and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• A bility to use Microsoft outlook (e-mail), basic use of Microsoft office applications (Excel & Word) such as opening files, entering data into required fields, saving files and printing.

Responsibilities

• Checks for workmanship, dimensional specs, tolerances and usability from a functional standpoint
• Performs special projects as needed
• Conducts Receiving Inspection by following sampling plans
• Conducts Production Line inspection by sampling finished goods for completeness and functionality
• Other duties as required
