Double P Corporation (Auntie Anne’s Pretzels) is hiring a Shift Supervisors and Crew Members, full time and part time. Shifts vary from nights, days, and weekends.

GENERAL SUMMARY: A Shift Supervisor functions as the person in charge of the store in the absence of, or as directed by the manager, Assistant Manager or District manager for the duration of their assigned shift. You will be executing store operations, supervise crew members and delegate tasks as necessary.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the preparation and presentation of Auntie Anne’s Products to its customers, and for the maintenance of the store premises and equipment, in accordance with Double P Corporation & Auntie Anne’s operation standards and policies. In addition, provides, excellent customer service by satisfying each customer needs and exceeding their expectations. This role is critical role to provide our customer with an outstanding customer experience. This includes operating Satellite Retail Units (SRU’s)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to the following:

  • Perform all the Crew Member’s Responsibilities such as baking, rolling pretzels, creating our hot delicious pretzels, dipping pretzels, cash handling, cleaning, etc.,
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of Crew Members; coordinate their meal breaks and breaks per state and federal law.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep sore operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • In the event of call-offs, no shows, etc., contact Manager or Assistant Manager, as directed, recommend solution to secure a replacement for the shift.
  • Monitor product quality and adherence to proper operating procedures; complaints, as required.
  • Monitor customer service and the customer experience.
  • Address, respond to, and resolve customers’ needs, questions, and complaints, as required.
  • Assure that all opening/closing procedures are performed, including all daily and scheduled, periodic (weekly, monthly if applicable) maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Responsible for store funds during shift assigned. Access to bottom safe to issue and replace shift drawers/till and access to “to make change”.
  • Run register reports, complete Daily Cash Reports and hourly reading sheet. If closing, complete the Sales Log report.
  • Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
  • Comply with Double P Corporation policies and procedures, including relevant federal and state regulations (safety and environmental standards, OSHA, EPA, Right to Know, EEO, ADA, etc.,

Required Qualifications/job requirements:

  • 6 months to 1 years’ experience in retail management, food service industry or equivalent experience.
  • Basic math and basic reading skills, including simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to use a operate a calculator accurately
  • Attention to detail
  • Display ability to develop skills in leadership; coaching others respectfully and professionally.
  • Stronger customer focus with excellent people skills; including positive can-do attitude, teachable spirit.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Complies with all health and sanitation laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technology skills, including computer skill, smart phones, iPads, retail handhelds, POS system.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the food industry or retail operations preferred, but not required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • The potential for prolonged standing, walking, squatting and/or bending.
  • The ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high stressed environment when dealing with systems/customers/staff
  • Work with agility
  • Occasional long hours within the state and federal applicable laws
  • Ability to write simple correspondence [In English]. Ability to effective share information in one-on one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization who only speak English for safety and communication purposes,
