*Assistant Traffic Manager, Marketing*
The Assistant Manager Traffic Manager is responsible for routing jobs for markups/approvals and seeing jobs through from concept to completion. This position ensures the efficient orchestration of timelines, schedules and workflow in a high-volume, fast-changing environment, and requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to influence multiple stakeholders.
The Assistant Manager Traffic Manager works with cross-functional partners across the organization, including Marketing, Creative, Project Management, Production, Visual and Merchandising peers and Senior Management, as well as external partners such as Print and Premedia providers.
Responsibilities:
* Enforces standardized processes, best practices and guidelines for Marketing, Visual and Merchandising traffic workflows.
* Negotiates and develops timelines, schedules and deliverables in coordination with Business Owner(s), Project Management and Production.
* Utilizes Ad Event System for performance metrics to continually improve processes, scheduling and execution of jobs.
* In coordination with Traffic Manager, drives campaign launch dates for Business Owner(s) and ensures kick-off meetings are in place for timely planning and execution.
* Ensures that all campaign briefs have Executive sign off and that campaign/associated events are initiated in Ad Event System accurately.
* Consistently monitors schedules and deliverables to ensure jobs are on track. Elevates issues to Senior Management when jobs are at risk, and plans contingencies.
* Manages weekly Job Status meetings to identify any issues or barriers to the timely release of jobs and communicates changes in strategy to all stakeholders
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years Traffic & Production experience in a retail or other fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Demonstrated knowledge of all marketing channels and experience driving efficient workflows
* Proven negotiator; able to drive compliance from cross-functional stakeholders and third-party partners and move projects forward in an assertive, but diplomatic way
* Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* Strong creative problem-solving skills; ability to come up with unique solutions to complex problems
* Superior prioritization and organizational skills
* Excellent time management skills; able to manage concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
* Thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment
* Responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and ever-changing environment
* Thorough attention to detail, with excellent follow-through
* Expertise in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Able to quickly grasp and learn proprietary software programs
