Provide technical and functional support on the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools, in particular those used for tracking, managing, and reporting on the status of personnel. This position has responsibility for managing the movement of employee, position, and accounting/finance/payroll/benefits data between HRIS applications and systems, as well as ensuring data integrity between them.

Works with users and vendor(s) to ensure HRIS will provide accurate, comprehensive and appropriate data for making sound business decisions. Creates custom reports, as appropriate. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the servicing of user requests for data, HRIS access, reporting, trouble shooting, and application support through the management of the department mailbox.

Documents service requests for productivity reporting. Produces or coordinates through other Resource Center teams scheduled and ad hoc data files and reporting requests for HR, business, or functional users.

Collaborates with HRIS team in analyzing report requests, determining appropriate output that delivers information securely, accurately, and timely.

Performs system testing, upgrades, cyclicals and business process changes.

Troubleshoot technical issues with the applications and systems that support business processes.

Coordinate with IT specialists and other technical subject matter experts as necessary.

Primary contact within department for new reporting initiatives.

Document new and updated procedures and prepare corresponding reference and presentation materials.

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives related to the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools. Analyze and recommend enhancements and customizations to HRIS applications, systems, and tools.

Perform other duties as required.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or equivalent experience

2-4 years of functional and technical HR, Payroll, and HRIS experience.

Lawson 9.0 and Lawson Certification

Strong analytical, quantitative and PC software skills (particularly Excel and Access) required. Must have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite software, including Word, Power Point, etc.
