We are currently recruiting for a Six Sigma Specialist. This role will be accountable for conducting process improvement using methodologies grounded in Lean Six Sigma principles to achieve efficient, highly productive workflow processes. The ideal candidate will conduct project work to identify key issues and problems, design performance metrics, generate solutions and implement process changes in collaboration with functional managers.



 


 




Primary Responsibilities:




  • Assists in identifying, planning and implementing change via Lean Six Sigma methodologies

  • Establishes the concept of high performance work teams where applicable

  • Provides guidance to team on performance and productivity issues

  • Establishes effective professional business relationships with all levels of management

  • Instructs and educates in all aspects of the project

  • Identifies and seeks resources and data for project

  • Develops the project schedule and tracks progress towards final solutions and results

  • Supports the transfer of new solutions or processes to ongoing operations, while working with functional managers and/or the process owner

  • Documents final results and creates a summary of the project work including performance indicators

Requirements

Required Qualifications:





  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related health care field


  • Minimum of Six Sigma Green Belt Certification


  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses


  • Effective leadership, project management and consulting skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Effective interpersonal skills


  • Proficient in Excel, Minitab, Access, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and other applications that apply


  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet strict deadlines while managing multiple, competing tasks


  • Advanced knowledge of project management


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, constantly changing entrepreneurial organization
