The Talent Acquisition Service Advisor position is responsible for providing customer service to the Talent Acquisition organization including vendor partners, hiring managers, Human Capital employees, applicants, and employees with all functions related to the recruitment process. The TA Service Advisor will also provide recruiting support to assigned Recruiters. This position enables our Talent Acquisition function to be as productive as possible.


 


This role is open to telecommuters for those that are not located near a UnitedHealth Group Hub Office (Minnesota, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT). Preference for this position is that you would be an office based employee.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Answering and troubleshooting routine Taleo, TalentSource and Global Self Service questions

  • Preparing offer letters for new hires, internal transfers, and acquired employees

  • Processing on-boarding for new hires including initiating a pre-employment background screening, drug testing, TB testing and completing new hire and internal transfer ID generation and updates

  • Schedule interviews, and discovery calls for Recruiters and Hiring Managers

  • Assist Recruiter with the creation of job postings including the utilization of job board best practices and search engine optimization

  • Collaborate with all interview stakeholders and provide either manager facing documents (candidate resume, interview itinerary, etc.) to Hiring Manager or candidate facing documents (itinerary, directions, hiring manager info, etc.) to Candidate

  • Administrative tasks as needed by Manager and Recruiting Manager in order to assist team with onboarding, meetings, and materials

  • Work effectively with other Human Capital functions to obtain needed information

  • Quickly and accurately identify and assess customer needs and take the appropriate action steps to satisfy those needs

  • Identify issues and resolutions related to the recruitment process and share with management to determine next steps

  • Continuously recommend process improvements and future enhancements/best practices for current processes

  • Work on a daily basis to manage workload capacity, in a dynamic environment to maximize productivity and efficiencies

  • Solve problems systemically, using sound business judgment, and following through on commitments

  • Contribute to training new TA Service Advisors and Recruiters that join our department

  • Act as an active participant in departmental project work as assigned by Manager

  • Identify issues and resolutions related to the recruitment process and share with management to determine next steps

  • Interface with other team members within TASD/other areas of Human Capital to ensure consistency in policy and process management

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • BA or BS in a business or human resources field or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years customer service experience

  • 2+ years of business experience, preferably in human resources or recruiting

  • Ability to interact and work with all levels of employees

  • Ability to work with external vendor partners

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Intermediate experience with MS Office

  • Proficiency with recruiting technology (Taleo, PeopleSoft)
