Aristech Surfaces LLC is a manufacturer of continuous cast acrylic sheet, solid surface and polyester solid surface. We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic who will work on 2nd or 3rd Shift. The core responsibility of this job is providing Maintenance support for our automated production lines and utility systems. Local Candidates strongly preferred.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with maintaining, installing and troubleshooting the following:
*Electrical Systems from 24v to 480v, experience with higher voltages (13.2kV) desired
*Electric Motors from 1hp to 125hp
*Mechanical Systems (gearboxes, bearings etc.)
*Hydraulics Systems up to 1300 psi
*Steam Systems low pressure (40psi) to high pressure (200psi)
*Positive Displacement and Centrifugal Pumps
*Compressed Air Systems (Compressors, Dryers and pneumatic operators)

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KEY PERFORMANCE ATTRIBUTES:
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills
*Strong Mechanical Aptitude Strong Computer Skills
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
*3-5 years industrial maintenance experience preferably in the Chemical Industry
*Electrical Experience preferred
*Welding Experience preferred
*NCRC Certification Required (Can be obtained through the Kentucky Career Center)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*High school diploma or GED equivalency
*Able to read, write, and speak the English language
*Willing and able to work any vacant shift and provide overtime coverage and plant call-ins
*Willing to work with hazardous and/or flammable chemicals (with proper safety precautions, training, and equipment)
*Willing to work around and/or manually interact with heavy equipment
*Willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and in environments that require frequent bending, reaching and lifting
*Willing and able to satisfy all requirements and perform all emergency response functions and responsibilities
*Willing and able to work independently and in a team atmosphere
*Willing and able to safely operate a forklift
*Must be able to understand and adhere to strict environmental, health, safety, security and quality policies
*Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a diverse set of cross functional groups
*Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
*Complete tasks wearing required personal protective equipment which may include fire protective clothing, goggles, face shields, gloves, steel toe boots, hearing protection, respirators, etc.
*Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
*Must have basic computer skills
*Pass pre-employment testing including a physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check
