Bible League International is seeking candidates for a Marketing Coordinator for our Crete, Illinois office. Bible League comes alongside local churches and ministries to equip them for Bible-based evangelistic outreach, discipleship, and church planting. Bible League helps to grow God's Kingdom across the globe through Bible translation, Bible-based literacy, Bible learning programs, and building the Church.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in Bible League International's US efforts to retain, and grow individual donor relationships. This person will work directly with the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing to help coordinate fundraising and acquisition goals, track projects from creative stages through production and delivery to appropriate audience and staff. This includes coordinating, organizing, controlling, problem solving, and tracking program results. This person will also work closely with outside vendor partners.

Essential Duties

Manage and track marketing projects to ensure they are on task to meet tight deadlines.
Manage day-to-day operations to insure the objectives are met with the internal and external stakeholders including strategies, objectives, and schedules.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all relationships with all Bible League International programs, constituency, groups, systems, and partners. Follow up with donor inquiries as needed.
Plan, coordinate, and set schedules for creative, production, and execution of our Development initiatives on our website and printed materials.
Ensure the Executive Director of Development and the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing have a printed copy of all projects once finalized.
Assist the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing with any duties relating to Bible League International's direct response programs.

Qualifications

Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct him/herself in a Christ-like manner
2- 3 years of marketing or project coordinator experience. Good understanding of marketing communications and customer service as they relate to establishing and maintaining a donor/customer relationship. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Adapts easily to frequent change and understands the potential of short- or long-term benefits resulting from change. Maintains a positive outlook, works constructively under pressure.
Responds resourcefully when challenges arise and accepts responsibility for actions, learning, and change. Arrives at work and appointments on time. Handles all matters with a high degree of maturity and confidentiality.
Persistently works systematically and tirelessly to meet or exceed stated goals or until the goal is no longer in effect. Balances the needs and interests of various stakeholders and makes decisions involving competing goals, objectives, and alternatives. Detailed-oriented person and a self-starter. Follow through is critical.
Demonstrates effective computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and various software applications and databases used in work efforts.
Must be able and willing to travel occasionally.
