Front End Javascript Developer - Full-time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The primary function of the Front End Javascript Developer is to architect, develop and deliver business applications meeting business needs, providing business value, and driving ROI in a highly creative, fast paced, high energy development group

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:
•Managing, setting, and meeting Business area customer expectations
•Applications expert in one or more business areas
•Technical position requiring high levels of efficiency and productivity
•Lead by example with code creativity, optimization and efficacy
•Total project management responsibilities for medium to large efforts following hhgregg project management standards.
•Complete projects on-time, on-target, and on-budget

Requirements:
EDUCATION:
•Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in technology related area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
•5+ years experience in comparable roles. Less experience will be considered for exceptional candidates.
•Bachelor's degree or proven professional experience required in design-related discipline: Interaction, Graphic or Interface design.
•3 years experience Dojo, jQuery or other popular JavaScript library
•Able to hand code HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript to help crank out prototypes for rapid testing, comfortable with prototyping tools a plus
•Ability to successfully execute on, and load balance across, multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
•Thorough understanding of overall web site design, including basic usability, industry standards, web analytics and brand.
•Knowledge of cross-platform browser compatibility restrictions and requirements.
•Understanding of W3C Accessibility standards and web-compliant development, enough to understand how to effectively design for all users and work with the software engineering team to implement an accessible site
Desired:
