About this job



Our Client, a World Leading Manufacturing Company in Noblesville, IN, needs to add a Claims / Return Specialist to their team. The purpose of this position is to provide a 'single point of contact' for reviewing all corporate claim and return requests. Duties will include:

Communicate with customers by phone, email, and chat through our web based system while utilizing an ERP system to assist with product warranty, shipments, and returns support requests.
Provide and communicate technical information of SMC's product to our customers.
Evaluate requests and collect appropriate information to validate if product was used to SMC's product specifications.
Research, document, and when necessary initiate the process for reimbursement of the warranty claims or replacement.
Collect and document the appropriate detailed information for the internal warranty evaluation process.
Work with customer and sales to suggest alternative product to meet the customers' requirements.
Obtain customer feedback information and report findings on a regular basis.
Provide status updates on requests until resolution has been recorded and customer satisfaction is obtained
Work with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness for product evaluation, replacement, and/or credit.
Help identify repeat trends and work with the respective department to improve service.

REQUIREMENTS:

A professional demeanor, positive attitude, can-do approach and ready smile will be given top consideration
3-5 years' experience in a Call Center, Sales, Returns, Order Processing or Engineering is desired
Naturally curious with the ability and aptitude for research and problem solving
Effectively communicate verbally and orally.
Work in a fast paced environment
Strong teamwork and time management
Able to work with minimum supervision while maintaining a sense of urgency
Bachelor degree desired but not required

This is an Evaluation Hire Assignment. The starting salary is $36,000, with potential to increase as you gain experience. During your assignment you will have access to benefits that can include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, holiday pay, and earned vacation time.
