Manager-In-Training - Full-time / Part-time

Erickson Oil Products, established owner and operator of the Freedom Valu Centers chain of convenience stores in the midwest is seeking Manager-in-Training candidates.

This is a temporary position intended to prepare an individual to become a Store Manager. Responsible for learning all aspects of the Store Manager position and must demonstrate successful completion of certain competencies during the specified training period. Areas of competency include customer service, merchandising, food service, operations, associate relations, staffing and development and store profitability. Duties may include housecleaning as necessary. Candidates actively promote company goals, enforce company policies and procedures and positively influence store culture.

Qualified candidates display leadership skills, possess 2 years retail management or shift lead experience; must have the ability to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining total customer focus; candidates must be open to relocation, have a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and must maintain automotive liability insurance during the course of employment. High school education or equivalent preferred.
