Within our Architectural Coatings business, we produce paints, stains, and specialty coatings under the PPG Pittsburgh® Paints, PPG Olympic® Paints and Stains, and PPG Porter® Paints brands, and service the North American coatings industry across three channels.

PPG has recently completed the acquisition of the AkzoNobel North American Architectural Coatings business. This acquisition provides our newly combined Trade organization a tremendous platform for profitable growth. This acquisition enables us to now operate in 800 retail stores, sell through over 4,000 dealer stores and supply product to large home improvement retailers, such as Lowe's and Home Depot. This acquisition also brings a portfolio of well established brands to PPG such as Glidden, Glidden Professional, Ralph Lauren Paint, Devoe Coatings and Martha Stewart Living paints; Flood, Sikkens and Synteko woodcare products; plus Liquid Nails adhesives and caulks.

Job Responsibilities
Our part time Retail Delivery Drivers are responsible for interacting with customers, delivering quality products to meet customer needs while being a part of a customer-focused retail team.

Additional responsibilities of this entry level role include:

• Performing local deliveries in a safe and efficient manager, utilizing a company vehicle
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of the local, geographic area
• Assisting customers by calculating surface volume and tinting paint
• Performing the role as a store sales associate when needed

Qualifications

Job Requirements
Successful candidates of the entry level, part time Retail Delivery Driver role must have high energy, be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, and able to learn quickly.

Additional requirements of this entry level, part time role include:

• High School Diploma or GED, some college credit, preferred
• Ability to compute discounts and price points
• Good attention to detail, ability to complete forms with good attention to detail
• Ability to work part time hours with varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. infrequently and 40 - 60 pounds routinely
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet applications
