Manufacturing Associate 1PM - 9PM

Job Goals: To layout, cut, and assemble high performance fabric materials while working with different equipment in a very diverse work environment. Education, Skills and Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and perform basic mathematics. Ability to read, comprehends, and follows basic written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift 60 lbs safely. Ability to communicate with team members within and outside of department. 0-18 months of related experience. Responsibilities: Use a variety of different sealing equipment and understand their uses. Read and interpret drawings. Layout and assemble pretension windows and buildings using drawings. Layout, cut and assemble antenna covers. Work in Suit Room to cut, layout, and assemble suits. Work on pretension rings and fabricate to drawings. Work in Hood Room and make a variety of products for hoods. Fabricate miscellaneous parts using clickers and measure their conformance to drawings. Do a variety of tasks as required or directed by supervisor. Physical abilities required to do essential and secondary functions: Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 60 lbs., and grasping. Training: New hires or transfers into this position shall be given a three-month trial period in order to become proficient. Proficiency shall be evaluated by area supervisor, and become part of the employee SOP's training record.
