Job Description: General Clerk III
These General Clerk IIIs will be reviewing the files of appeals through the ACA and healthcare website. They will be communicating with the Appealants about their appeals in a position that requires 90% work on the phones. They will be reviewing the paperwork and entering desired data into an excel (similar) spreadsheet at first and then an online database.
Their primary responsibility is talking to the appellants, involving the marketplace when needed, listening and taking detailed notes on all conversation.
The main focus on this team is multi-tasking between computer screens and fields. Candidates MUST be proficient with computers and comfortable with them.
Contractors on this team document all of their work. They need to have strong written and oral communication skills. They need to be able to clearly document the information so that the person who comes in contact with the file next will be able to pick up exactly where they left off.
