About this job
- Provide data analyst support for Healthplan Performance Reviews (HPRs) and Underwriting analyses
- Run standard reports and analyze data related to clinical patterns, diagnosis chapters, drivers, etc.
- Identify specific cost drivers
- Analyze utilization patterns
- Deliver base level reports to Strategic Account Executives
- Track data, cases, and reports
- Lead ad-hoc analysis in support of Health Analytic Consultants and customer projects
- Participate in customer meetings as needed
- Communicate information openly and in an articulate and professional manner
- Candidates for this position should be comfortable working on endeavors that require precision and invite executive level oversight. They should project both confidence and competence to customers; both internal and external.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in managed care
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis, interpretation, synthesis
- 1 year of experience working with large sets of Healthcare data (ie: claims data, clinical program data, individual decision data, pharmaceutical data)
- 1+ years presentation experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An innovative approach to process; asking "How can I make this better?"
- Proficiency with PowerPoint
