Position Title: Guest Service Agent/Night Auditor
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
Department: Front Office

Position Summary & Purpose: Audits, balances, and reports on the various areas of the hotel (e.g., rooms, front desk, etc.) to provide accurate and timelyfinancial information on thehotel's operational performance for the day. Oversees front office/front desk operations during theovernight shift.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Position reports to: Front Desk Supervisor
Positions directly reporting to this position: None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Meet and exceed guest and team member expectations by providing high standards of customer service and team work.
2. Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests.
3. Performs Guest Service Agent duties.
4. Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
5. Prepares summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial
performance for the day.
6. Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. Processes guest charge vouchers and
credit card vouchers.
7. Runs Night Audit program and prints reports as required.
8. Verifies all account postings and balances.
9. Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management.
10. Prepares breakfast area and serves breakfast items restocking them as needed.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
