Key Responsibilities
Performs daily maintenance functions for facility and production equipment. Performs preventative maintenance utilizing TPM and other established preventative maintenance programs. Must be able to diagnose mechanical and automated equipment problems to effectively address equipment issues in a timely manor. Background in Allen-Bradley Logic Systems preferred. PLC, Servo Motor, & advanced electrical diagnostic skills preferred. Supports operations on a daily basis to meet operational demands working with Set/Up Technicians, Management and Supervisory personnel. Responsible for new equipment installations. Responsible for process improvements that may include reorganization of existing equipment or facility structures. Works with engineering and other resources to resolve issues and initiate improvements. Works with outside vendors, machine and equipment fabricators, and facility support vendors on a daily basis. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, painting and fabrication. Keeps records of maintenance work to identify trends. Supports and participates in the facilities 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes. May assist in equipment and EHS training for the facilities personnel. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Experience and Education
Minimum three years experience in plant maintenance, fabrication or related field. Technical School or Associates Degree preferred.

Functional and Technical Skills
Must have an advanced understanding of electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, advanced electrical control systems, pumps, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical cylinders. Must be able to perform safe operations of small and large powered hand tools. Must be read, write, and communicate in English, perform mathematical calculations, follow SOPs and wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
