Description

Maintenance Supervisor

Under the direction of theMaintenance Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supervising the workflow of maintenance technicians in the general maintenance of beverage manufacturing equipment.

Major Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
  1. Assures equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity and product quality.
  2. Guide and Support maintenance technicians in trouble-shooting production equipment when necessary.
  3. Implements process enhancements to improve package changeover and line efficiency.
  4. Utilizes knowledge to maximize asset utilization and plant performance.
  5. Supports/Provides training to improve capability of maintenance technicians.
  6. Schedules and Tracks standard preventive manufacturing measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunities.
  7. Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the equipment and building electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems.
  8. Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractors.
  9. Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.

Qualifications

Basic Job Qualifications
  1. BA degree in Engineering or Operations Management or HS Diploma/GED and 3 years of previous supervision experience.
  2. Five years of mechanical/electrical experience maintaining production equipment. PLC programming knowledge is essential.
  3. A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing maintenance supervisory experience
  4. Two years of experience working with SAP, MS Excel, MS Word and PM programs such as MP2.
