Leads day to day sales training initiatives to support the roll outs, launches, updates, and other key sales focus items for a market for both the direct and indirect sales channels. * Creates, plans, coordinates, schedules, and delivers sales training in a classroom setting for both the direct and indirect sales channels, including new hire training, sales training, OEM training, etc. Also coordinates, delivers, and attends internal team trainings and events.
  • Develops program design elements and training support materials.
  • Coordinates with online training programs developed by the Organizational Learning group
  • SME training: Creates training presentations, conducts train the trainer sessions with SME to share content and how to present
  • Creates virtual training reference library
  • Conducts sales training needs assessments for both the direct distribution channel as well as the indirect/third party retail distribution channel, and analyzes employee training needs to determine requirements for new program development.
  • Monitors and evaluates sales training programs, assesses results and implements enhancements as needed to ensure effectiveness of programs.
  • Coordinates with Organizational Learning, Marketing and Network Operations to identify program needs and obtain technical data.
  • Manages the communication of all required courses to the Dealer Associates and direct channel employees.
  • Tracks all training for MetroPCS employees and integrates with Metro University program participation data
  • Reviews new dealer doors for required training documentation
  • Updates and maintains communication portals related to indirect sales training such as Dealer Extranet and local MINT page.
  • May also develop, implement and conduct technical training as it relates to the organization's products.
  • May be involved in tracking the on-boarding of new dealers.
  • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Education/Certifications/Knowledge Requirements:
  • Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:
  • Two (2) to four(4) years of related experience in training and/or sales role or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a sales management/leadership position at MetroPCS is desired
  • Self-managed, highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player within the department and the organization
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to present to large groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Extensive MetroPCS product knowledge with services and handsets
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced and multiple priority environment
