JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for serving food and beverages to customers with exceptional service and passionate expertise and bussing and setting tables as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

  • Deliver food and beverages to guests as orders are completed and present in an attractive, safe and efficient manner.
  • Check identification to verify age requirements before serving beer and wine to guests.
  • Know, understand and comply with all guidelines governing the serving of alcoholic beverages including identification procedures and acceptable forms of identification.
  • Continuously assess product presentation and quality, addressing problems as necessary to ensure high standards are maintained for every guest.
  • Offer exceptional customer service to all guests ensuring all needs are met.
  • Monitor the guest dining experience, assist guests on iPad ordering as needed.
  • Clear and reset tables as needed in a timely and efficient manner to maximize guest service.
  • Refill and clean condiments, clean floors, tables, chairs, booths and other front-of-the-house areas to ensure a clean, well-stocked environment exist at all times.

OTHER JOB DUTIES (Not considered essential to the job)

  • Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education

  • High School or equivalent (State Law – Must be at least 18 years of age).

2. Licensing Required:

  • Alcohol Training certificate or ability to obtain

3. Experience:

  • Prior serving experience is preferred

4. Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Full understanding of food and beverage service and laws or health codes related to sanitation, food safety and alcohol service and compliance thereof
  • Ability to work quickly and cleanly
  • Ability to comply with all guidelines governing serving of alcoholic beverages including identification procedures and acceptable forms of identification. He or she will not serve visibly intoxicated clients
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
