Operations Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Position SummaryThe Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating, assigning, and directing work assignments within the Production Department. Works with other functional areas to communicate and/or resolve product, process, quality and material availability issues. Required Skills: Strong technical background of agricultural machinery, especially tractorsGood time keeping and organizational skills with good attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly and follow instructions given from managementCapable of issuing clear, precise instructions to staff to ensure smooth running of assembly process from start to finishAbility to lead by example, and if necessary use hands on approach to problem solving and trainingStrong character that can motivate the assembly team to meet time schedules and our stringent quality expectationsPatience and ability to instruct assembly staff on new products and procedures that arise as a result of new product releases or changes in company business operationsAbility to plan and allocate man hours in the most efficient way for the company to maximize its resourcesAbility to understand logistics and stock control and be able to plan ahead for the storage and processing of finished and unfinished productCommunicate with other departments when problems are identified to streamline a resolutionQualification: Required Education/Certifications: Must be able to interpret Engineering, Quality and Testing requirements and make sound decisionsMust have basic math skills, understanding conversions regarding measurementsRequires a minimum of three years education and or experience in Production environmentAbility to read and write in English for assembly directions, Work Orders and safety instructionsMust be able to perform physical strength & endurance requirements of the jobForklift certificationSUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Manager is responsible for Assembly TechniciansWORK ENVIRONMENT:Noise Levels: Medium to HighWeight Requirements: Lifting up to 75 lbsMobility: Squatting, bending, climbing, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing and sitting for long durations of timeVisual: Working with PC and close detailed work on equipmentWork Environment: Exposure to extreme weather, fumes, airborne particles and moving mechanical partsDexterity: Ability to grasp and manipulate production componentsTemp Perm with a salary of $55kDrug screen and background required Reply with interest to: apsgwinnett@apstemps.comEqual Opportunity Employer
