Maintenance Technician needed for Lakeland branch of International Company
General Job Description:
• Independently performs, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs to rental and shop fusion equipment, diesel generators, and related components. 
• Must have experience troubleshooting and performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems, small diesel and gasoline engines.
• Efficiently troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical problems.
• Perform planned maintenance inspections/repairs as required. Repair/overhaul engines and hydraulic components.
• Perform emergency repairs and adjustments for units in the field on rental.
• Performs disassembly, assembly, installation and for all types of machinery, equipment and related components.
• Perform necessary lubrication of all machinery.
• Operates various machines (i.e., lathes, mills, grinders, press, etc.) necessary to make or repair machine parts. Will
• Operate lift truck and hoisting equipment. Help maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance tools.
• Writes procedures to support a total preventative maintenance program as required. 
• Maintenance of clean and safe work areas. 
• Activities will include the washing and cleaning of equipment and parts, moving of equipment on the yard and may require delivery of equipment pieces back to the customer.

Requirements:
• Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory
• Valid driver's license or CDL is required. High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years technical school or equivalent job related training.
• Vocational / Technical education preferred or equivalent experience
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, overhead crane, etc.)
• Ability to perform tasks independently
• Proficiency in crane rigging procedures
• Troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to diagnose technical issues through reading and understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Basic maintenance welding a plus
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to read technical manuals required. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
