Production Workers - Full-time / Part-time

Production workers needed for Statesville manufacturing facility!!! THE JOBS-New employees will start as Production Workers. There is a 90 day Probationary Period. Employees will operate machinery and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The standard workday is 8 hours. At times employees are required to work a 12 hour shift with or without notice. New hires typically start on 2nd shift depending on the opening. Although the general work week is Monday through Friday, employees are expected to work some Saturdays, especially during the summer, which is the busy season. JOB REQUIREMENTS Positions require a minimum of 3 years of recent continuous manufacturing experience. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Employees must be able to work overtime with minimal notice. PAY AND BENEFITS Starting pay for General Labor (Production) is $14.44 per hour plus shift differential. The Company offers Medical, Dental, 401 (k), and Pension benefits. There are eleven (11) paid holidays. THE EMPLOYMENT PROCESS Qualified applicants will be offered the opportunity to take a pre-employment test battery consisting of 2 tests: 1) a Basic Industrial Skills Test, which tests the applicant's ability to identify and use standard work instructions and procedures, and 2) The Work Background Profile, which gathers responses to job situations, describes work and life experiences, and determines work preferences. Applicants who meet the testing criteria may be invited back for an interview. Applicants who pass the interview will be given a plant tour. If successful, a job offer may be made. Job offers are contingent upon passing a health assessment, a drug screen, and a reference and background check.
