We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Water Technician.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Requirements
24-hr emergency fire and water damage cleanup service looking for hard-working, dependable, customer-service oriented people for labor intensive position.
Duties include, working in all weather conditions; cleaning up water (includes sewage) and fire damaged buildings utilizing specialized equipment; cleaning walls, ceilings, floors, personal property; demolition, lifting heavy equipment and personal property; mold removal; carpet/upholstery cleaning; duct cleaning; and death/trauma scene cleanup. Other job expectations include working overtime at a moments notice and being on-call during non-business hours, weekends, and all holidays per schedule/s.
Job Qualifications:
* Clean driving and criminal record. Do not apply if you have a felony and conviction of DUI, theft and violence.
* Drug-free.
* Reliable transportation to/from work.
* Flexible schedule in order to work scheduled hours and be on-call.
* Be proficient in communications, both verbal and written.
* Construction background or knowledge of how buildings are built is extremely desirable.
* Be able to lift 50lbs-75lbs or more without restrictions.
* Enjoy working with people and follows direction.
* Able to problem-solve.
* Able to drive larger trucks (not semis) following state and federal rules of the road: extended work vans and box trucks.
* Must be mechanically inclined since you will be working with equipment.
* Honest, hardworking and has leadership qualities.
* Already Water, Moldand Fire Certified is a plus
Comply with safety policies as outlined in the Safety Manual. Utilize cleaning products, mechanical equipment, and personal protective equipment properly. Maintain a clean, safe work area.
We are willing to send and pay for Water and Fire Certification if applicant is applicable.
On-Call, Part-time and full-time positions available. Overtime paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
