On Site Supervisor 2nd Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower is now hiring a 2nd Shift On-Site Coordinator for a high volume distribution company in Grand Rapids, MI. This position is expected to last through December 2014, potentially into January 2015. This position will require the ability to start quickly. The On-Site Supervisor will be responsible for 2nd shift Manpower Associates on assignment with this client. Position Requirements include: *Communication with Associates, Manpower Leadership and Client Management Personnel daily *Address, follow-up and document all Associate concerns including payroll, attendance and tardiness, work-related occurrences etc. *Coach and counsel Associates regarding time-keeping, productivity, punctuality etc. *Provide prompt action on all adjustment of hours and payroll corrections as needed *Strong documentation and attention to detail are essential for this role *Position requires 2nd shift hours- overtime may be required Desired Skills and Experience: *Previous supervision experience in a busy distribution based business is preferred but not required *Strong written and verbal communication skills is critical *1-2 years of experience in Supervision, Management, or Employee Relations based position *Experience processing and adjusting payroll for 300+ employees *Customer Service skills are essential as this position is an extremely visible role with all levels of staff and Management Please apply or contact Sarah Tanis- sarah.tanis@manpower.com OR 616-871-4035
