Full-Time Driver/Utility Worker

As a Driver/Utility Worker, you will be able to load, unload and move materials around; cleaning house wares is also a big part of this job. A bonus will be to have a candidate with experience in operating a pallet jack and order picker.This position includes driving a box truck for the company and requires a valid driver's license.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday/7:00am - 4:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Packages inventory in preparation for delivery.
• Pre packages following company standard to make sure items will not get damaged.
• Cleans and prepares laundry and kitchen materials for packaging.
• Operates all warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
• Handles all inventory in a manner that reduces exposure to damage.
• As required, acts as Driver.

In order to qualify for this job you MUST have a Valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, proof of insurance and the ability to lift and move items that are about 75 lbs. We will train you to do this job in accordance with Oakwood standards and expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• BASIC knowledge of the English language
• Experience and general knowledge of housekeeping and warehousing
• Energetic and self motivated.
• High level of attention to detail.
