About this job
Industrial cleaners main responsibility will to be to keep the floor free and clear of oils, anti-freeze, water and plastic pellets. Main priority is sweeping and mopping. Will be bending, twisting and standing the entire shift (up to 12 hours). Must be able to see all obstructions. Must be able to hear if plastic is scraping behind a machine. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occassionally. Will empty a mop bucket sometimes more than 20 times in one shift. The plant houses 26 plastic injection molding presses. Some of the presses are old and leak oil/water/antifreeze. The cleaner is responsible for special projects as needed. All projects will require cleaning. The cleaner will get dirty. Steel toed boots required. 2nd and 3rd shift positions avaialble. Long term temporary positions. Please call the Kendallville Staffmark branch for more details.
