Opening for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) This is a contract position based out of CT, NY, or NJ. This individual will drive supplier development activities within a diverse supply base to assure continued quality compliance and maintain production readiness.
Duties include qualification approvals, onsite surveillance, and support at suppliers that provide chemical/metallurgical processing (heat treat, welding, anodizing, etc.), as well as laboratory testing. This activity will involve onsite process audits, lab qualifications, escape investigations, and supplier inquiries.
Fielding Calls will also be a part of this position as well
