Host/Hostess

We are searching for dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic Hosts/Hostesses eager to provide a Perfect Night Out. Melting Pot restaurants feature tableside service with a full menu and fine wine in an upscale environment. Our Host/Hostess (Hospitality Specialists) have an opportunity to provide guests with the all important “first impression”, therefore playing a vital role in ensuring a quality experience. Requirements:

• Make reservations using a computerized reservations system
• Coordinate seating of guests using reservations system
• Escort guests to tables, make menu presentation and server introductions
• Perform side work duties including cleaning and organizing work areas
• Prepare merchandise packages and floral arrangements
• Basic computer knowledge helpful (e-mail and Microsoft Office)
• Complete all side work and daily cleaning tasks
• Operate and maintain a clean working environment
• Have a desire to learn with a positive outlook
