About this job
Associate will be responsible for responding to service calls on production equipment and systems, performing assigned PM and work order activities on equipment. Primary responsibility will be mechanical work as part of standard activities. Ability to assess the over-all machine operation and determine appropriate means for troubleshooting and/or making recommendations for improvements is a fundamental requirement of this position. This position is part of a team-orientated group of tradesmen with focus on safety of yourself and other team members, working efficiently, and keeping maintenance downtime to a minimum using a proactive approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of this team-orientated organization.

Requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, climb stairs, reach with arms and hands.
• Must be able to live and move 10-30 on a periodic basis
• Must be able to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus ability for examining product
• Must be able to work in heat and noise
• Must be able to work on feet for an 8-12 hour workday on any shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance on state-of-the art equipment.
• 2 year technical degree is preferred
• Ability to halt or suspend operations based upon safety or quality concerns
