Assemblers

Staffmark, one of the top ten commercial staffing companies in the United States, is currently seeking dependable individuals to fill Assembler positions in the Lexington, KY area. These are temp-to-hire positions.

Responsibilities include hardware assembly of automotive glass, adding parts such as weather stripping on sunroofs, clips on windshields and small parts placed on windows to enable the automatic window to function.

The type of work is light assembly with no large, hot machinery. The work to be done is a combination of manual and automatic, with the majority being manual. The job is fast paced with a strong emphasis on high quality.

Will be standing, twisting, stooping, bending and lifting no more than 45 pounds. Any lifting of 50 pounds or more will be done in teams of two.

Pay Rates:

1st shift: $9.00/hr.

2nd & 3rd shift: $9.25/hr.

Working Schedule:

* First Shift: 6:30am-3pm (MON-FRI)

* 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm (MON-FRI)

* 3rd shift: 10:15pm-6:45am (MON-FRI)

All shifts are subject to overtime (possible 10-12 hours a day, including weekends). Overtime is mandatory

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

* Minimum of six months recent/verifiable manufacturing experience.
* High school diploma or GED required (must bring proof of education).
* Pass a drug screen.
* Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
* Flexibility to work overtime.
* Attention to detail.
