Description:



 



Positions
in this function are responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new
member enrollments. Positions may load new member data into the enrollment
database & update the database with changes. Positions may also respond to
member eligibility questions & verify enrollment status. Positions may work
with various types of member correspondence. Positions may also be responsible
for reconciling eligibility & fee discrepancies, analyzing transactional
data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes. Positions may also be
responsible for inventory control of member transactions.

Primary
Responsibilities:



  • Loading
    new member data into the enrollment database & update the database
    with changes
  • Responding
    to member eligibility questions & verify enrollment status
  • Working
    with various types of member correspondence
  • Reconciling
    eligibility & fee discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting
    retroactive eligibility changes
  • Inventory
    control of member transactions
  • Ability
    to plan and forecast future inventory
  • Work
    is frequently completed without established procedures
  • Works
    independently
  • Directly
    manage a team of 20+ direct reports
  • Provide
    coaching and feedback to team regarding performance metrics
  • Clearly
    communicate changes to policies and procedures to team in a timely manner
  • Support
    and assist with planning and implementation of various Billing &
    Enrollment projects
  • Oversee
    End to End processing of fee bearing programs and Billing & Enrollment
    reports
  • Ability
    to drive and support change
  • Act
    as a resource for others
  • Coordinates,
    supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business
    support, technical or production team or unit.
  • Impact
    of work is most often at the team level.


Requirements

Requirements:



  • High
    School Diploma/GED
  • 2+
    years team lead/supervisory experience
  • 3+
    years experience in a production driven, matrix environment
  • Beginner proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Word and Outlook
  • United
    States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of
    Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86


Assets:



  • Associate
    and/or Bachelors degree
  • Military
    Experience
  • Previous
    TRICARE experience

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or “NACLC”). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.




As
a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and
proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense
form SF85P.
