Aerotek Professional Services is currently seeking a Implementation/ Client Trainer to work for our client, a company in the pharmaceutical industry, in Nashville, TN.

Purpose: to work with new clients to effectively deploy our client's equipment and processes, ensuring a smooth transition from the previous pharmacy service

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing pharmacy services at new customer locations in long term care institutional settings including group homes and nursing homes.
  • Provide training to nursing staff at new client locations, typically 2 hours in length. Nurse training should happen once per shift for new clients to ensure that nursing staff is ready to go live on the first day of service. Topics include:
    • eMedStat (Medication Dispensing Cart System)
    • Med Pass/Cycle Strips
    • Receiving daily workflow, weekly cycle and backup pharmacies
    • Printing MAR, TAR and PO forms
    • Accessing patient information
    • Entering non-drug orders
  • Work with CSR to set up eMedStat cart and med room in client location
  • MAR/Medical Record review prior to go-live time
  • Be onsite for first day as part of implementation team to provide pharmacy staff onsite for a significant portion of the first full day of service
  • Perform research and coordinate communications between pharmacy and facility staff at start up of services.
  • Assess and remedy any issues within the facility pertaining to the pharmacy.
  • Conduct training for facility staff on pharmacy systems and processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Tech, licensed in TN, or the state in which the training is to be provided.
  • Must be willing to travel significantly throughout the Southeast.
  • Training, Teaching and/or Customer Service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft products, experience in DocuTrak and FrameWorks systems preferred.
  • Strong professional communication and organizational skills.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor, confidence to speak in front of client employees required
  • Problem Solving Skills
