As a Claims Representative Associate, you'll be responsible for handling incoming healthcare claims ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity by processing claims accurately, the first time. You'll put your skills and talents to work as you review, research, and process medical claims. It's complex, detailed work. It's a fast-paced challenge. It's a job that calls on you to be thoughtful, resourceful, team-driven and customer-focused. To put it mildly, there is never a dull moment.


 


This position is full-time (40 hours/week) with our site Hours of Operation from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. We do require our employees to be flexible enough to work any shift, any day of the week during those hours. 


 


Responsibilities:



  • Use multiple computer systems, platforms, and applications to accurately capture necessary claims and eligibility data. 

  • Complete the review, research, processing and payment of medical claims in alignment with the member's plan coverage, directives and claims procedures

  • Performs accurate and timely data entry of all healthcare claims processing information and results

  • Meet performance goals established for the position in the area of: efficiency, accuracy, scheduled adherence, and processed claims

Requirements

 


Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum 1 year Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience or 1 year experience in an office setting,  call center setting or phone support  role using the telephone and computer consistently

  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
    Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications

  • Ability to multi-task job duties and understand multiple products and levels of benefits within each product

  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed

  • All new hires will be required to successful complete Customer Service Representative training classes and demonstrate proficiency of the material
