About this job
We are in need of a Safety Coordinator to be the liason between the production floor, contractors and rest of the company and enforce OSHA regulations.
Duties:
- Run monthly safety meetings with 90 people
- Know, understand and implement OSHA regulations
- Work to become VPP Qualified (already in process)
- Help prepare forklift training, lock out tag out, and fall protection procedures
- Hold workers accountable to safe work practices
- Ensure that Contractors on site are compliant (none on site full time)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial safety experience
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations
- Able to communicate effectively with employees of all levels
