GAM Enterprises has an opportunity for a Material Handler (Shipping/Warehouse/Production) to work in our small manufacturing facility in Mount Prospect, Illinois. We make parts that assemble into gear boxes which are used to automate factories. We are looking for a team player, who would be excited to help us grow.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Receiving - receiving and inspecting raw materials, parts, and semi-assembled product.
Inventory/Warehousing - stocking, counting, labeling, and organizing products and parts.
Entry Level Machining - helping to create couplings and other metal parts on CNC and manual lathes as well as manual milling machines.
Shipping - painting, preparing and shipping final products.
Other manufacturing, warehousing and production functions that will assist the manufacturing team meet production goals.
Qualifications: We will train the right person for this entry level position, but we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Detail oriented, organized, mathematical, and mechanically inclined, with PC skills.
Previous work history in a warehouse, as a material handler, parts department, or work in a shipping/receiving department is a plus.
The ability to stand on your feet and lift 50 pounds.
Strong work ethic and demonstrated history of good attendance.
Schedule, Pay & Benefits:
This is a full time, first shift position working 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday. Some Saturday work will be required to meet production goals.
Starting salary between $11 and $13 per hour, depending on experience and skill set.
Benefits package that includes medical, dental, life & disability insurance, paid time off, 401(k) plan and more.
