Gigi’s Cupcakes seeks a highly motivated, “can-do” attitude person to run daily operations.
Gigi’s sells a variety of fresh cupcakes, cakes, cookies and cheesecake for all client types: including retail, weddings, caterings, parties, and more.
Applicants must have retail and or bakery/restaurant experience.
Applicants must understand scheduling, inventory control, and basic business functions. Manager is responsible for growing sales, managing production, and representing the brand in the community.
We are looking for a career oriented person that has a desire for success, ability to problem solve, and preform consistently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties and task may be assigned)

  • Oversee and ensure success of the business
  • Ensure guest satisfaction
  • Grow sales through customer service and adhering to Gigi’s standards
  • Order from approved Gigi’s Vendors and maintain inventory controls
  • Oversee and work in kitchen production
  • Hire, train, and manage store employees
  • Have excellent knowledge of all store functions including; Baking, Decorating, Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, marketing, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining successful store level P&L –Primarily Labor and Food Costs
  • Responsible for maintaining store facilities through approved maintenance requests.
  • Must be able to identify and correct employee grievances

Additional Requirements and Skills Needed

  • Must Have prior management experience
  • Must have computer knowledge including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in fast paced, customer service driven environment.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with reporting staff, customers, and management.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to Identify and resolve problems, before they happen and as they happen.
  • Must be able to use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with reporting staff, customers, and management.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task, and perform well under pressure.
  • Must maintain successful relationships with vendors, employees, customers and Management.
  • Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional during all situations.
  • Must have the ability to retain and protect confidential material.
  • Must have strong organizational skills
