Key responsibilities include:
* Follow up on claims submitted for accurate and timely filing with the ability to correct Medicaid claims online
* Research Medicaid remittances and misapplied payments as needed. Running Reports & Initiate refunds as necessary
* Provide in depth analysis and resolve concerns regarding account balances
* Ability to offer support and direction to field staff
* Ability to monitor the flow of information to assure adherence to company procedures, plus federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
* Other duties as assigned

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* Two years of experience in billing Skilled Nursing Medicaid claims to state specific programs* Knowledge of Medicaid billing practices and procedures with experience in Medicaid billing preferred
* Proficient in computers required for MS Word and Excel with a full understanding of billing-related computer systems
* Ability to organize daily activities within the office to promote timely and efficient transmission of information
* Strong communication and customer service skills required
* Good interpersonal and organization skills accompanied with the ability to work with a high level and volume of detail
* Adherence to HIPAA and all laws pertaining to confidentiality with the ability to understand/interpret policies and regulations and adhere to such
* Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and be a team player
