One to One Interactions (OTO), a Consumer Event Marketing Company, is the exclusive provider of product sampling and consumer engagement events in Giant Eagle Grocery Stores, Market District Grocery Stores, and GetGo Convenience Stores. Our team of 800+ demonstrators perform over 50,000 product sampling and marketing events annually in these stores. During these consumer marketing events, we sample and sell a wide variety of products to Giant Eagle consumers, ranging from fresh bakery, meat, produce, seafood, prepared foods, and deli items to center store branded items from Kraft Foods, Pepsi, Frito Lay, and hundreds of other brands.

Summary of Position

We are currently seeking chefs, culinary students, and people with a love of cooking and a flair for showmanship to show Giant Eagle customers how easy and fun it is to prepare fresh seafood at home.

In a nutshell, you will prepare a different seafood recipe each day in the seafood department of your assigned store, showing customers how to prepare the recipe and handing out samples of your culinary masterpiece for customers to taste. You will provide a copy of the recipe and encourage customers to purchase the ingredients to make the recipe at home.

The goal of this job is to make the shopping experience fun, show customers how easy it is to prepare fresh seafood, encourage them to try it, and to increase seafood sales in the store.

Roles and Responsibilities

This is a part time position, working 2 days per week; Friday and Saturday. Hours are 11:00am – 5:00pm each day. We offer a competitive starting rate and a great work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Enthusiastic, friendly person with a great personality who loves to cook!
Culinary Student or Chef
Extensive cooking background, specifically in Seafood.
