Position Description:



 



We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager, Data
Warehousing and Reporting. This leader is charged to develop Data
Warehousing and Reporting capabilities for the company. The position will
directly support the development and maintenance of reporting applications and
or ad-hoc data requests for UHC Businesses in alignment with Enterprise Data
Strategy. This position reports to the Director of Data warehousing and
reporting.  Join our specialized IT team of problem solvers and
doers.



 



Primary Responsibilities:




  • Build constructive partnerships with business
    leadership to proactively recommend solutions to business issues through
    practical, elegant, and effective business intelligence and reporting
    vehicles.

  • Direct deployment of enterprise data strategy vision
    through successful program delivery

  • Collaborate with global and contractor leaders to
    develop partnerships that allow for capacity flexibility and offer
    equivalent and or superior quality delivery capability

  • Effectively manages a balanced scorecard metric set
    that would include key measures such as quality & timely delivery.

  • Incorporate best practices and standards in metadata
    and report/dashboard development

  • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be
    understood by a variety of audiences

  • Function as a mentor for other team members, providing
    assistance where needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • 7+ years of experience communicating with senior level
    business leaders and stakeholders

  • 7+ years of experience with relational databases

  • 5+ years of experience working with ETL tools or
    Advanced SQL

  • 5+ years of experience working on/ managing Data
    Warehousing projects.

  • Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma/GED plus 7+ years
    equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of successive management experience with a
    focus on reporting and analytics and/or management of global teams



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Six Sigma Process Improvement experience

  • Operations functions experience

  • Experience using Data Stage or other ETL tools

  • Experience working on one specific application for 2+
    years

  • Green or Black Belt certification

  • Healthcare Industry experience

  • Project and/or Program Management experience

  • Experience with other Business Intelligence Tools like
    Cognos and/or SAS
