A Regional Trainer (FCT Specialist) is needed to provide the oversight, coordination, scheduling and management of all training for new and tenured Family Centered Clinicians and assist with all Regional Training and Development projects. The FCT Specialist will be accountable to the Program Director.

Key Responsibilities:

General

· Provide direct services to clients per the Family Centered Specialist job description.

· Provide the coordination, scheduling, oversight and management for the on boarding/training of Family Centered Specialists per the comprehensive training requirements list and check off process.

· Participates in the FCT Specialist team meetings and trainings with Organizational Development Department, as assigned.

Training and Development

· Provide the specific training and check-off for the following list (not all inclusive): Oversight, guidance and management of the training/orientation of new Family Centered Clinicians in the Wheels of Change © course; daily tracking of the on line course implementation and coordinating and checking off the competency based Family Centered Treatment (FCT) certification.

· Oversight, scheduling and guidance of new and tenured Family Centered Clinicians in the additional required trainings per state, contract, and Mentor Network requirements as indicated per the specific state/regional trainings lists. Attend all team meetings and provide consult on the case staffing process (MIGS, case staffings for non-FCT cases and case introductions).

· Assist in the development of staff via field consults; per direction of the Program Director. Assist in the development of staff to attain the dosage requirements (frequency, intensity and duration of contact) required for service categories; per direction of Program Director.

· Lead and participate in Structural Family Assessments and other sessions with Family Centered Clinicians; as designated by Program Director. Review the Clinical Performance Reports supplied by Organizational Development in team meetings, consults with the Quality Assurance Director on the specific MIGS reviewed, and provides training for the team from the report.

· Coordinate the FCT Training meeting each month and provide trainings as directed. Develop the annual schedule for the regional trainings with consult from the Program Director and/or Organizational Development.

Consult and Monitoring

· Ensure that all certified FCCs in the regional are appropriately approving the filed competency of FCCs in the core required skills consistently in accordance with the FCT certification process and FCT standards.

· Consult and provide assistance for the Program Director in working collaboratively to develop staff. (Avoids triangulation by consistent use of Effective Feedback, Conflict Resolution).

· Provide information for the Program Director for supervision of staff regarding training issues/concerns.

· Substitute for the Program Director at team meetings when directed (this is a last resort option for team coverage when approved by the State Director).

· Demonstrate competence in required corporate level trainings necessary for FCT Specialists, such as Incident Reporting. FCT phase activity document oversight and consult for staff ensuring adherence/fidelity to FCT. Qualitative review of client record documentation for region; as assigned by Program Director.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree and two years related field experience required
  • Must have Family Centered Treatment (FCT Certification
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
