Aviation Purchaser - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is an International helicopter charter company specializing in external load and specialty operations, including seismic, aerial harvesting, inspection and surveillance, mapping, photography, survey, forest fire suppression, general transport and more.

Their techniques are unique and exact. Using state-of-the-art equipment like Differential Signal Global Positioning Systems (DGPS) combined with their specialists, they can place seismic or other equipment in remote locations without the need for expensive and environmentally damaging seismic cut lines or drop zones.

With our U.S. Corporate Offices in Denver, Colorado, our customers are always well served. The client's aircraft and crews travel all over North America, as well as overseas, so you the customer are not restricted by our base locations.

Aviation Purchasing Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check requisitions as necessary for any inbound part.
• Get quotes on goods, services, and parts to determine if the organization is receiving the best possible price.
• Solicit bids, analyze those quotes, and recommend to Management who is the best overall vendor, looking at price, reputations, etc.:
• Complete all paperwork related and necessary of the parts and ensure that it meets quality requirements.
• Expedites and monitors materials shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery.
• Provide prompt feedback with internal and external vendors and team members in a timely manner
• Follow up and coordinate all material discrepancies and payment issues with vendor, product lines and accounts payable.
• Travel may be required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous aviation purchasing experience required
• Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university or four years related experience and/or training;
• Emphasis in logistic and supply chain management or business administration preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access)
