Store Manager - Full-time

Position Title: Store Manager Reports to: Area District Manager The Store Manager is accountable for the daily operations of the store with a focus on creating an excellent customer experience as well as staff development. They are responsible for the overall financial performance of the store location and all revenue related activity. This includes all store operations inventory, merchandise sales, credit, special promotions, expense management, procedures for register/deposits and achievement of store budget. The Store Manager ensures corporate programs and policies are executed and provides disciplined leadership including setting clear expectation for store employees both in revenue/operational performance as well as customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Cultivates a Culture of Care Directs Store employees to ensure speed of service, cleanliness standards and ensure operational needs are met. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to store employees on shift to ensure operational excellence. Develop positive relationships with shift employee/team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns. Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned Follows operational procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all employees during the shift. Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift. Proactively leads store employees to achievement of business goals of inventory management and customer satisfaction. Deliver legendary customer service and teach store staff in “customer comes first” ways to customer connection and satisfaction. Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to Regional Manager to ensure proper response time. Clearly communicates to Area District Manager the hiring needs for the store to ensure optimal staffing. Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments and collaborates with peers to find new, creative and impactful methods of recognition. Ensure consistency of merchandising execution and operational processes within the Boutique. Possess knowledge of all products with commitment to ongoing improvement in personal product knowledge. Lead and monitor profit drivers, solution selling, inactive inventory, price change execution and point of sale reduction Skills, Ability & Qualifications NYC Food Handlers Certification Enthusiastic leader Strong interpersonal skills Ability to understand and carry our oral and/or written instructions and request clarification when needed Ability to learn quickly, acquire knowledge Ability to work in a team Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers Can-do, problem solving skills which encourages others around dealing with change Advanced typing/key boarding skills, basic excel College education preferred, not required. Physical Requirements: Some lifting, walking, bending, and pushing will be necessary to adequately perform duties, which include restocking inventory or removing expired inventory. Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weight of less than fifty (50) pounds. Standing for extended periods of time.
