This Internship is for Spring 2015



Looking for experience in IT? Information Technology Interns assist the team on web development, e-commerce, and digital technology tools for content management, personalization, targeting and multi-language translation.



Information Technology Interns at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • Working with senior developers on analysis, designing and coding using .NET C#.
  • FE development using HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript in the development of websites, and ecommerce capabilities.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


 


To perform the role of an Information Technology Intern successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.    

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA required
  • Must be willing to work Monday through Friday; 20-30 hours per week
  • Must be able to work from January through May 2015
  • Must be actively enrolled for the Spring 2015 semester as a college Senior or Graduate Student
  • Preferred majors include Computer Science
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Familiar with HTML 5, CSS3, .NET C#
  • Understanding of base web development concepts
