Primary Responsibilities:




  • Program Management of large multi team initiatives, partnering with business leadership and managing program delivery across internal IT, third party vendors and service providers


  • Cultivate business relationships to provide program leadership in a highly matrix environment


  • Actively engage with business teams from business case development through program delivery


  • Provide point of escalation for a program portfolio


  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas including program and project management, scope definition, risk identification and mitigation


  • Ensure critical programs establish and deliver on commitments and establish metrics to proactively identify areas of risk and allow planning for mitigation


  • Create and deliver executive level presentations on program updates, cycles and expected results


  • Broker delivery of critical programs within the portfolio, ensure organizational alignment on scope, schedule, quality, benefits and implement and monitor appropriate controls to proactively deal with barriers to completion


  • Manage vendors and service providers, in addition to internal resources


  • Provide leadership to process improvement and other initiatives as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:





  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business or related technical field and/or equivalent education and experience


  • 8+ years of experience within a large corporate environment


  • 5+ years of direct accountability as a Program Manager


  • 5+ years of experience in tracking, planning IT projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions


  • Experience in area of business analysis, systems analysis, data analytics, development or quality assurance


  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate highly technical concepts in a business vernacular


  • Strong project and program management capabilities - ability to work with senior leaders ensuring project completion


  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Financial acumen


  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite


  • Willing and able to travel approximately 10%


  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint  


  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely


  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities

 


Preferred Qualifications:




  • PMP Certification


  • Experience with MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint


  • Healthcare industry experience


  • Advanced degree and relevant certifications
