Position Description:
Security Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for arranging
and coordinating any array of Security services. Utilizing in-house
resources and a global vendor network, the successful candidate will be
accountable for the coordination of services supporting the security
needs of our client base from inception to completion. These services
may include, but are not limited to: Aircraft Security, Secure
Transportation, Executive Protection and VIP Meet and Greet services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish communication with clients and Internal staff regarding service requirements.
- Utilize recommendations from Internal staff to determine security concerns.
- Help
determine the appropriate level of security being arranged, based on
the client's needs combined with current Intelligence data. - Ensure that all services arranged through the vendor network are confirmed with service details.
- Ensure that our clients receive a detailed service confirmation in a timely manner.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and safety.
- Provide support outside the Operations department, as needed.
- Moderate work experience within own function.
- Some work is completed without established procedures.
- Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
- Supervision/guidance is required for higher-level tasks
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Any Logistics experience with emphasis on Shipping,
Logistics & Transportation. - Basic (or higher) level of current proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Learning the software is the biggest hurdle so having
good technical proficiency is required. - Also, you will need to be able to at least type 30-40
words per minutes and have proficient computer navigation skills. - Operations Coordinators work on a rotating shift
schedule. The schedules are usually a combination of 12:00 am - 10:00 am, 2:00
pm - 12:00 am, or 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, but hours can also vary. This is a
24/7/365 department. Coordinators will be expected to work off-peak hours,
including nights, weekends and company-observed holidays. Shift differential
pay is in place.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Foreign Language skills are a huge plus.
- Knowledge of Global Affairs.
- Background or experience in Aviation and/or Travel
Industry - Former Military personnel would be a plus.
